Juniper JNP-QSFP-100G-SR4 100G QSFP28 SR4 Transceiver

The Juniper JNP-QSFP-100G-SR4 is a 100 Gigabit Ethernet transceiver module implementing the QSFP28 form factor with Short-Range 4-lane (SR4) optics. Designed specifically for Juniper QFX5120 and QFX5200 series leaf switches, this-coded module delivers high-density connectivity for data center and service-provider spine-leaf architectures. The transceiver operates over multimode fiber (MMF) at distances up to 100 meters on OM3 cable and 150 meters on OM4 cable, making it suitable for in-campus and data center interconnect scenarios.

The SR4 implementation uses four parallel optical lanes, each transmitting at 25 Gbps, to achieve aggregate 100 Gbps throughput. The module integrates digital diagnostics monitoring (DDM) capabilities for real-time health and performance visibility. Power consumption and thermal characteristics are optimized for high-density line-card deployments where multiple transceivers operate in close proximity.
