The Eaton G4 Managed Rack PDU (EMAB17) is a three-phase, high-density power distribution unit delivering up to 17.3 kW of managed power to rack-mounted equipment. Built on Eaton's fourth-generation intelligent PDU architecture, the EMAB17 provides high-resolution metering at the unit, phase, and outlet levels, enabling precise visibility into power consumption across every connected load. The unit communicates over a dual Ethernet network interface, supporting IPv4/IPv6, SNMP v1/v2c/v3, Modbus TCP, and RESTful API access, making it fully compatible with modern data center infrastructure management (DCIM) platforms and building management systems.

The EMAB17 is engineered for high-density server, storage, and networking deployments where granular power oversight and remote outlet control are critical operational requirements. Outlet-level switching allows administrators to remotely cycle or shut down individual ports without physical access to the rack, reducing mean time to repair in lights-out and remote facilities.
