The Eaton 93PM is a modular, scalable three-phase UPS platform engineered for continuous power protection in demanding data center and critical infrastructure environments. Built on a hot-swappable power module architecture, the 93PM 50kW configuration allows IT and facilities teams to add capacity incrementally within a single frame without taking the system offline, reducing both initial capital exposure and planned downtime. The double-conversion online topology ensures connected loads receive clean, regulated sine-wave output isolated from utility disturbances including sags, surges, harmonics, and frequency deviations.
The 93PM operates at up to 96% efficiency in normal double-conversion mode and supports an Energy Saver System (ESS) mode that can push efficiency above 99% under qualifying load and utility conditions, significantly reducing cooling overhead and operating expenditure in large deployments. The unit accepts a wide input voltage range and delivers a 0.9 power factor output rating, aligning with the power factor characteristics of modern server, storage, and networking loads. Input power factor correction minimizes reactive current draw on facility distribution infrastructure.
Designed for enterprise data centers, colocation facilities, and industrial critical power applications, the 93PM 50kW unit supports parallel redundant and capacity configurations, enabling N+1 or 2N architectures at the UPS level. The system integrates with Eaton's Intelligent Power Manager (IPM) software and supports standard SNMP, Modbus, and BACnet communications through optional network cards, providing comprehensive visibility into power chain health within existing IT management frameworks.
