The Eaton 9PX Lithium-ion 3000VA Rack/Tower UPS (9PX3000IRTBPL) is a double-conversion online UPS delivering continuous 2700W / 3000VA of clean, conditioned power with zero transfer time between utility and battery operation. Built around a high-frequency transformer-less topology, the unit achieves up to 99% efficiency in Energy Saver mode and maintains 94% efficiency in standard double-conversion mode, significantly reducing heat dissipation and operating costs in space-constrained environments. The integrated lithium-ion battery pack replaces traditional VRLA chemistry, offering a design service life approximately three times longer and a substantially lower total weight compared with equivalent lead-acid configurations.

The 9PX3000IRTBPL ships in a convertible rack/tower form factor occupying 2U of rack space, making it equally suitable for floor-standing tower deployment without additional hardware. The front panel features a full-color LCD interface providing real-time load, battery state-of-charge, estimated runtime, input/output voltage, and event log data. The unit includes a standard RS-232 port, a USB port, and an expansion slot compatible with Eaton's range of network management cards (including INDGW-BA and NETWORK-MS) enabling SNMP/Web-based monitoring, automated graceful shutdown, and integration with virtualisation platforms via Eaton's IPM (Intelligent Power Manager) software.

Designed for edge data-centre, server room, and distributed IT infrastructure deployments, the 9PX lithium-ion variant addresses environments where battery replacement logistics are operationally challenging or where high ambient temperatures would accelerate VRLA degradation. The lithium-ion chemistry supports operation across a wider temperature range and tolerates partial state-of-charge cycling without capacity loss, making it well suited to sites with intermittent or unreliable utility supplies. Eight IEC 320 C13 and two IEC 320 C19 output receptacles, combined with configurable outlet groups, allow load segmentation and remote outlet control when paired with an appropriate management card.
