The TP-Link Omada TX401 is a single-port 10GBASE-T PCIe network adapter designed to bring 10 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity to servers, workstations, and high-performance desktop systems via a standard PCIe x4 interface. Built around the Marvell AQC107 controller, the TX401 delivers full 10 Gbps throughput over standard Cat6a or Cat7 copper cabling up to 100 metres, while also supporting backward-compatible operation at 5G, 2.5G, 1G, and 100 Mbps link speeds. Hardware offload engines for TCP, UDP, and IPv4/IPv6 checksum processing reduce CPU overhead under sustained data transfer loads, making the adapter well suited to latency-sensitive and bandwidth-intensive enterprise workloads.
The TX401 occupies a PCIe 3.0 x4 slot and operates within standard PCIe x8 or x16 mechanical slots, providing broad compatibility across mainstream server and workstation platforms.
