Built on SonicWall's proprietary multi-core hardware architecture and powered by the SonicOS 7.x operating system, the NSsp 13700 delivers hardware-accelerated TLS/SSL decryption, advanced threat protection, and real-time deep packet inspection across all ports and protocols without compromising network performance. Its high-density 100GbE interface capacity makes it well suited as a core or perimeter security gateway in environments with extremely high-bandwidth east-west and north-south traffic flows.

The NSsp 13700 integrates SonicWall's Capture Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) cloud sandbox service alongside Real-Time Deep Memory Inspection (RTDMI), enabling detection and blocking of sophisticated zero-day exploits, ransomware, and encrypted malware before they reach critical infrastructure. The platform supports full stateful inspection, intrusion prevention, application intelligence and control, content filtering, and anti-malware scanning simultaneously at line rate. It is also capable of decrypting and inspecting TLS 1.3 traffic, closing a critical visibility gap common in legacy firewall deployments.
