The MikroTik hAP ax3 (C53UiG+5HPaxD2HPaxD) is a dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) home and small business access point and router built around a quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 processor running RouterOS v7. It delivers concurrent 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz radios with MU-MIMO and OFDMA support, enabling higher aggregate throughput and improved spectral efficiency compared to previous Wi-Fi 5 generations. The inclusion of a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet WAN/LAN port makes the hAP ax3 well suited to environments where multi-gigabit uplinks from fibre or DOCSIS 3.1 connections need to be terminated without a separate switch upgrade.

The device ships with five Ethernet ports total — one 2.5GbE and four Gigabit ports — all managed through MikroTik's feature-rich RouterOS, which provides enterprise-grade capabilities including VLAN segmentation, firewall, QoS, IPsec/OpenVPN tunnelling, and MPLS.
