The Ubiquiti UniFi U7 Pro Wall (U7-Pro-Wall) is an in-wall Wi-Fi 7 access point engineered for high-density, room-level wireless deployments. Built on the IEEE 802.11be (Wi-Fi 7) standard, it delivers tri-band operation across 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz, leveraging Multi-Link Operation (MLO) and 4096-QAM modulation to maximize throughput and reduce latency in environments where many concurrent client devices must be served reliably. The form factor replaces a standard single-gang wall plate, making it purpose-built for hotel rooms, dormitories, healthcare patient rooms, and similar hospitality or multi-tenant spaces where ceiling-mount access points are impractical.

The U7-Pro-Wall integrates a built-in Ethernet switch with a PoE passthrough port, allowing a downstream device such as a desk phone, smart TV, or wired workstation to receive both data and power from the same in-wall unit without requiring an additional switch. This simplifies infrastructure in room deployments by consolidating the wireless access point and wired edge switching into a single wall-plate device. The access point is powered via 802.3bt PoE (PoE++) from the upstream switch, providing sufficient power budget to simultaneously operate the radio subsystem and supply passthrough power to a connected device.

Managed entirely through the UniFi Network application — available as a self-hosted controller or via Ubiquiti's cloud-hosted UniFi Site Manager — the U7-Pro-Wall supports zero-touch provisioning, granular SSID and VLAN segmentation, and guest portal workflows suited to enterprise and hospitality network operations. It is compatible with the broader UniFi ecosystem, enabling unified visibility, RF planning, and policy management across mixed-generation access point deployments from a single pane of glass.
