The Micron 7450 PRO 7.68TB U.3 NVMe SSD (MTFDKCC7T6TFR-1BC1ZABYY) is built on Micron's 176-layer TLC 3D NAND and pairs with a PCIe Gen 4 x4 interface to deliver high throughput and consistent low-latency performance for read-intensive to mixed enterprise workloads. The U.3 form factor supports tri-mode backplane compatibility, enabling flexible deployment across a broad range of 2.5-inch NVMe-capable server platforms. Launched in Q2 2022, the 7450 PRO has achieved broad qualification across major server ecosystems including Dell, HPE, Lenovo, and Supermicro.

The 7450 PRO targets mainstream enterprise storage tiers where a balance of sequential throughput and random IOPS is required without the premium of all-out performance-class drives. Sequential read performance reaches up to 6,800 MB/s and sequential write up to 2,700 MB/s, while random read IOPS reach up to 1,000K and random write IOPS up to 180K at the 7.68TB capacity point. The drive carries a 1 DWPD endurance rating over its rated life, making it well-suited for read-dominant and balanced mixed-use server workloads.

Powered by Micron's proprietary NVMe controller and supporting the NVMe 1.4 specification, the 7450 PRO includes enterprise-grade data-path protection features such as end-to-end data path protection, power-loss protection circuitry, and support for TCG Opal 2.0 self-encrypting drive capability.
