The Juniper SRX1600 is a next-generation firewall purpose-built for mid-range enterprise edge, campus core, and regional data center deployments. Built on Juniper's Junos OS, the SRX1600 delivers stateful firewall, intrusion prevention, application visibility and control, and integrated AI-driven threat intelligence through Juniper's SecIntel feed — enabling automated blocking of known malicious IPs, URLs, and domains at wire speed without requiring separate management infrastructure.

The SRX1600 is designed as a 1U fixed-form-factor appliance offering high firewall throughput, hardware-accelerated IPsec VPN, and support for advanced routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and IS-IS, making it well suited as a secure WAN edge device or internet gateway.
