The Intel E810-2CQDA2 is a dual-port 100 Gigabit Ethernet adapter built on Intel's E810 Ethernet controller, delivering full line-rate 200 Gbps aggregate throughput across two QSFP28 ports. Operating over a PCIe 4.0 x16 host interface, the adapter provides the bandwidth headroom required for latency-sensitive and throughput-intensive workloads in modern data centers. The E810 controller integrates Intel's Dynamic Device Personalization (DDP) technology, enabling the adapter's packet processing pipeline to be reconfigured at runtime to support specialized traffic profiles for storage, telecommunications, and cloud networking without requiring hardware replacement.
The adapter supports a comprehensive set of offload and virtualization capabilities, including RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCEv2), SR-IOV with up to 256 virtual functions per port, and hardware-based flow steering through Intel's Advanced Flow Director. Precision Time Protocol (PTP) and IEEE 1588 hardware timestamping are supported natively, making the adapter well suited for time-sensitive networking (TSN) and telecom workloads that require sub-microsecond synchronization. The E810-2CQDA2 also supports the DPDK and RDMA software stacks, and is compatible with the Linux kernel inbox driver (ice) as well as Intel's out-of-tree driver package.
