The Huawei UPS5000-E 80kVA is a high-density modular online double-conversion uninterruptible power supply engineered for mission-critical data center and enterprise infrastructure environments. Built on a hot-swap power module architecture, the system allows individual power modules to be inserted or removed without interrupting the load, enabling maintenance and capacity expansion during live operation. The unit operates in true online double-conversion topology (IEC 62040-3 Class VFI), providing complete isolation of the output from mains disturbances including voltage fluctuations, frequency variations, and transient surges.
The UPS5000-E 80kVA delivers a high input power factor of up to 0.99 and a very low input total harmonic distortion (THDi) of less than 3%, significantly reducing the burden on upstream generators and distribution infrastructure. Its intelligent battery management system supports lead-acid and lithium-ion battery configurations, extending battery service life through precision charging algorithms. The system achieves an efficiency of up to 96% in double-conversion mode and up to 99% in ECO mode, directly reducing cooling overhead and operational energy expenditure across the data center.
Designed for scalable deployment, the UPS5000-E 80kVA integrates with Huawei's NetEco and third-party DCIM platforms via SNMP, Modbus, and dry-contact interfaces, providing granular real-time monitoring of load levels, battery state, and environmental parameters.
