The Eaton ePDU G3 Switched is a 0U rack-mount power distribution unit engineered for remote outlet control in high-density colocation and network operations environments. Designed with a single-phase IEC 309 16A input (1P+N+E), the unit distributes power across 24 outlets: 20× IEC 60320 C13 and 4× IEC 60320 C19 receptacles, enabling granular per-outlet switching and monitoring via remote management protocols.

The G3 Switched architecture integrates intelligent metering and circuit protection at the outlet level, supporting remote on/off control, outlet-level current monitoring, and environmental telemetry. This permits data center operators to perform non-disruptive power cycling, enforce load balancing across physical infrastructure, and reduce mean time to recovery during fault conditions without physical access to equipment.
