The Eaton 9PX 3000i RT2U is a 3000 VA / 2700 W online double-conversion UPS designed for rack and tower deployment in demanding enterprise environments. Operating on a true double-conversion topology, it continuously regulates output power independent of input quality, eliminating the transfer time associated with line-interactive designs and providing clean, stable power to connected loads at all times. The unit occupies 2U of rack space and ships with a convertible tower stand, giving IT teams maximum flexibility in mixed or evolving infrastructure layouts.

Built around Eaton's Energy Saver System (ESS) technology, the 9PX3000IRT2U achieves up to 99% efficiency in ESS mode and up to 94% efficiency in standard double-conversion mode, reducing operating heat and lowering facility energy consumption compared with conventional online UPS designs. The unit supports a wide input voltage window and includes an LCD display for real-time monitoring of load, battery status, input/output voltage, and runtime estimates without requiring software access. A hot-swappable battery design allows battery replacement under load without disrupting connected equipment.

The 9PX 3000i RT2U integrates with Eaton's Intelligent Power Manager (IPM) software and is compatible with the Gigabit Network Card (mini-slot) for network-based SNMP and web monitoring. The unit includes three IEC C13 and one IEC C19 output receptacles on the rear panel, suits rack-mounted servers, network switches, storage arrays, and edge computing nodes, and supports extended runtime via compatible external battery modules (EBMs), making it a scalable foundation for power protection in small-to-medium data centres, server rooms, and colocation deployments.
