About the Eaton 93PM 30-200 kVA UPS (3-phase modular)

The Eaton 93PM is a three-phase modular uninterruptible power supply designed for scalable deployment in mission-critical enterprise and data-center environments. The 30–200 kVA range is achieved through a chassis-and-module architecture, allowing organizations to start with baseline capacity and expand power protection incrementally without replacing core infrastructure. This approach reduces initial capital expenditure while maintaining N+1 or N+X redundancy through parallel-capable power modules.

The 93PM employs double-conversion online topology with integrated static transfer switching, ensuring seamless transition between mains and battery during utility disturbances. High-frequency IGBT rectification and advanced power factor correction minimize harmonic injection into facility distribution. The modular design separates the UPS frame from individual 10–40 kVA power modules, enabling hot-swap maintenance and runtime module addition—critical for organizations requiring continuous uptime during capacity expansion or component service.

Optional integrated or standalone battery cabinets provide configurable runtime from 5 to 30+ minutes at full load, supporting both lithium-ion and traditional lead-acid topologies. Remote management via Ethernet, SNMP, and USB interfaces enables integration with building management systems, while dry contacts support legacy automation protocols. The 93PM targets hyperscale data centers, financial operations centers, telecommunications hubs, and manufacturing facilities where power density, modularity, and availability drive operational resilience.

Ideal for

  • Staged capacity expansion in greenfield or retrofit data-center deployments where initial 30 kVA baseline grows to 200 kVA without infrastructure redesign
  • N+1 redundant power protection using dual UPS frames with synchronized battery systems in Tier III or Tier IV facility architectures
  • High-frequency trading and financial services back-office environments requiring sub-millisecond failover and 24/7 operational continuity
  • Telecom central offices and mobile edge-computing nodes where modular scalability accommodates growing traffic and compute loads
  • Manufacturing process control and robotics clusters where precision timing and power quality directly impact production yield
  • Mission-critical healthcare and laboratory facilities dependent on uninterrupted diagnostics, cooling, and data integrity
