The Broadcom BCM957416N4160C is a dual-port 10GBASE-T Ethernet network adapter built on the Broadcom BCM57416 10GBASE-T controller. It follows the Open Compute Project (OCP) 3.0 Design Specification in the small form factor and connects to the host through an x8 PCI Express 3.0 compliant interface, using gold fingers compliant with the SFF-TA-1002 specification.
Each port provides a 10 Gb/s 10GBASE-T interface supporting IEEE 802.3an, along with 1000BASE-T IEEE 802.3ab, over Category 6, 6A or 7 twisted-pair cabling. The card supports SR-IOV with up to 128 virtual functions (VFs) and RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCE). Management is handled through the Network Controller Sideband Interface (NC-SI) and SMBus 2.0, and the card runs from 12V and 3.3V supplies.
