The Aten CL5800 is a 1U dual-rail LCD KVM console designed for high-density rack environments where independent operation of the display and keyboard/touchpad is essential. The dual-rail mechanism allows the 17-inch LCD monitor and the keyboard/touchpad tray to slide out and retract independently, enabling operators to use the keyboard without deploying the display, or vice versa — a critical advantage when rack space and workflow efficiency are both at a premium. The unit mounts in a single rack unit and is compatible with standard 19-inch EIA racks.

The console integrates a full-sized keyboard with touchpad directly into the drawer, eliminating the need for external peripherals and reducing cable clutter in the rack. The LCD panel supports wide-screen display with LED backlighting, delivering clear visual output suited to system administration, monitoring, and direct server access tasks.
