The Aten CL5708N is a 17-inch single-rail LCD KVM console drawer engineered for high-density rack environments. The integrated slide-out design combines a native LCD display with an 8-port Cat 5 KVM switch, eliminating the need for separate peripherals and reducing rack footprint while maintaining full keyboard, video, and mouse control across up to eight networked servers or appliances.

The console operates over standard Cat 5/5e/6 cabling, extending KVM connectivity distances beyond traditional direct-attach solutions and simplifying infrastructure by leveraging existing network infrastructure. The unit supports both PS/2 and USB device connections, providing flexibility across mixed legacy and modern server environments.
