The ASRock Rack GENOAD8-2T/BCM is built on the AMD EPYC 9004 'Genoa' platform, supporting the latest Zen 4 architecture with up to 96 cores per socket. The SP5 socket brings PCIe 5.0 support with 128 lanes directly from the CPU, providing double the bandwidth per lane compared to PCIe 4.0 — a critical advantage for NVMe Gen5 SSDs and next-generation GPU accelerators. The board targets enterprises modernizing their data center compute layer and needing a single-socket platform capable of replacing legacy dual-socket configurations.

The memory subsystem supports 12 DDR5 DIMM slots across 12 channels, enabling capacities up to 2.3TB with 3DS RDIMMs at speeds up to DDR5-4800.
