This architecture means the connected load operates exclusively from the inverter at all times, providing complete isolation from mains disturbances including voltage sags, swells, spikes, harmonic distortion, and frequency variation — with zero transfer time to battery because no transfer switching is ever required. The SRT series targets enterprise rack environments with its 4U rack-mount form factor, supporting loads across a wide input voltage range and offering output frequency lock to either 50 Hz or 60 Hz independent of input frequency.

The SRT6KRMXLI delivers 6000 VA / 6000 W of output power at unity power factor (1.0), a significant efficiency advantage over legacy UPS designs rated at 0.8 or 0.9 pF. Operating efficiency reaches up to 99% in ECO mode and approximately 96% in double-conversion online mode under full load, reducing heat dissipation and energy consumption in dense data centres. The unit supports an extended battery runtime configuration through compatible external battery packs (SRT192RMBP / SRT192RMBP2) and provides automatic voltage regulation (AVR) on both high and low input voltage conditions without consuming battery capacity. An intuitive LCD interface displays real-time input/output voltage, load percentage, battery charge level, and runtime estimates directly on the front panel.

Designed for mission-critical rack infrastructure, the SRT6KRMXLI ships with an AP9631 network management card pre-installed, enabling SNMP/Web-based remote monitoring, shutdown scripting, and integration with APC's EcoStruxure IT and PowerChute Network Shutdown software. The unit provides six IEC 320 C13 and four IEC 320 C19 output receptacles, allowing direct connection of mixed server and storage loads, and includes a maintenance bypass feature to permit UPS servicing without powering down attached equipment. Hot-swappable battery modules support battery replacement under load, eliminating planned downtime windows for routine maintenance.
