About the Acer Altos C100 F4 High-Density Blade / Multi-Node Server

The Acer Altos C100 F4 is a 2U multi-node chassis that houses up to four independent compute nodes, each populated with dual Intel Xeon Scalable processors and up to 1TB of DDR5 ECC RDIMM memory. This twin-node architecture enables enterprise environments to consolidate two to four independent servers into the physical space of a single 2U chassis, dramatically improving rack utilization and reducing cabling complexity in high-density deployments.

Each compute node is fully independent with its own PCIe expansion, NVMe boot storage, out-of-band management, and redundant power path derived from the chassis' shared 2400W power shelf. Shared high-efficiency power supplies reduce infrastructure overhead while node-level power isolation ensures that servicing one node does not affect neighboring nodes. The 2U shared thermal design uses high-velocity counter-rotating fans and an optimized airflow path to cool all four nodes simultaneously under full load.
