About the TP-Link Omada EAP773 BE9300 Wi-Fi 7 Tri-Band Access Point

The TP-Link Omada EAP773 is a tri-band Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) access point supporting 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz simultaneously, delivering an aggregate throughput of up to 9301 Mbps. It implements IEEE 802.11be features including Multi-Link Operation (MLO), 4096-QAM modulation, and 320 MHz channel width support on the 6 GHz band, enabling dramatically higher per-client peak rates and lower latency compared to Wi-Fi 6E predecessors. The 6 GHz band provides a virtually interference-free RF environment ideal for latency-sensitive and high-bandwidth enterprise workloads.

The EAP773 integrates fully into the Omada SDN platform, supporting centralized policy management, automated RF optimization, and seamless roaming via 802.11r/k/v. Multi-Link Operation allows client devices to simultaneously transmit and receive across multiple bands, improving reliability and throughput for Wi-Fi 7 capable endpoints. The AP is equipped with a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet uplink port to prevent the wired backhaul from bottlenecking the wireless throughput available on Wi-Fi 7 bands.

The unit is powered via 802.3bt PoE++ to support all three radios simultaneously at full power. Its enterprise-grade feature set includes OFDMA across all three bands, BSS Coloring, MU-MIMO (4×4 on 5/6 GHz), and support for WPA3-Enterprise security. The EAP773 is positioned for organizations planning Wi-Fi 7 infrastructure refresh cycles, particularly in high-density or latency-sensitive environments.

Ideal for

  • Enterprise Wi-Fi 7 infrastructure refresh deployments
  • High-density auditoriums and event spaces requiring sub-5ms latency
  • Healthcare environments with real-time patient monitoring devices
  • Financial trading floors requiring deterministic wireless performance
  • University research labs with high-bandwidth data transfer needs
  • Multi-service enterprise campuses needing simultaneous IoT and user traffic separation
