The TP-Link Omada EAP670 is a dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) ceiling-mount access point engineered for enterprise deployments requiring high throughput and dense client support. It delivers up to 574 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band and up to 4804 Mbps on the 5 GHz band, leveraging 4×4 MU-MIMO and OFDMA to serve dozens of simultaneous clients with minimal contention. BSS Coloring reduces co-channel interference in environments where many APs are deployed in close proximity, such as open-plan offices, conference centers, and campuses.

The EAP670 integrates seamlessly into the Omada SDN ecosystem, supporting zero-touch provisioning, centralized RF management, and cloud-based or on-premises controller management via the Omada Software Controller or OC200/OC300 hardware controllers. Features such as band steering, airtime fairness, and beamforming are managed centrally, enabling IT teams to optimize the RF environment across hundreds of APs from a single pane of glass. The AP supports seamless roaming via 802.11r/k/v for latency-sensitive applications.

Powered entirely via 802.3at PoE+ (no separate power adapter required), the EAP670 simplifies cabling in suspended-ceiling deployments. A dedicated Bluetooth Low Energy radio supports Omada mesh onboarding and location services. The unit mounts on a standard ceiling T-rail or wall using the included bracket, and its slim, low-profile white enclosure suits professional interior environments.
