TP-Link Omada EAP615-Wall AX1800 Wi-Fi 6 In-Wall Access Point

The TP-Link Omada EAP615-Wall is an 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6 access point built in a single-gang wall-plate form factor, designed specifically for hospitality, MDU (multi-dwelling unit), student housing, and healthcare environments where per-room Wi-Fi coverage is preferred over ceiling-mount AP deployments. By placing the AP inside each room, it eliminates RF penetration through walls and ceilings, providing consistent signal strength and clean SSID presentation to in-room guests or occupants.

The EAP615-Wall provides aggregate Wi-Fi 6 throughput of up to 1800 Mbps (574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 1201 Mbps on 5 GHz) using 2×2 MU-MIMO on both bands. The device includes a downstream Gigabit PoE output port that can power an IP phone, a PoE-enabled device, or a small switch within the room, extending the reach of the network without additional wiring runs. A second downstream Gigabit Ethernet port provides a wired connection for a room TV or laptop.

The EAP615-Wall receives PoE power from the in-wall cable run and passes it downstream via its PoE-out port, functioning as a PoE passthrough device. It integrates seamlessly into the Omada SDN ecosystem, supporting centralized SSID management, client isolation, VLAN-per-SSID for separating guest and management traffic, and 802.11r/k/v fast roaming as guests move between rooms. It mounts directly on a standard electrical back box (EU/US/UK variants available).
