Running ONTAP software in an ASA-optimized mode, the A150 delivers symmetric active-active host connectivity, meaning all paths to every LUN are active simultaneously across both controllers. This architecture maximizes throughput, eliminates path failover penalties, and simplifies multipathing configuration for VMware, Windows, Linux, and other SAN-attached hosts.
