The Cisco Meraki MG51 Cellular Gateway (part number MG51-HW) is a cloud-managed 5G sub-6 cellular gateway built around an internal Cat 20 cellular modem. It delivers throughput of up to 2 Gbps download and 300 Mbps upload, offers dual-carrier support and works with worldwide 5G bands. Two mGbE ports provide wired connectivity, and omnidirectional antennas give 360-degree cellular coverage.
The unit is IP67 rated and operates from -40 °C to 50 °C (-40 °F to 122 °F) at 5% to 95% non-condensing humidity. It can be mounted on a ceiling, wall or pole using the included all-in-one mounting bracket. Management is handled centrally over the web, with secure, user-scheduled firmware updates.
As a cellular gateway, the MG51 suits networks that need a cellular WAN link for primary or backup connectivity, including sites where the hardware must be installed in demanding locations.
