The Cisco Meraki Ethernet adapter for MV2 + MT (part number MA-PWR-ETH) is an optional USB-C to Ethernet power adapter. It is designed to power selected Meraki MT sensors and the Meraki MV2 camera from an Ethernet connection.
The adapter provides power to the MT10, MT11, MT14 and MT30 sensors. For the MV2 camera, either MA-PWR-USB-XX or MA-PWR-ETH is required to power the MV2-HW. When used with the MV2, MA-PWR-ETH delivers up to 12.95 W via 802.3af PoE.
This accessory suits Meraki deployments where cameras and environmental sensors are installed in offices, server rooms, retail sites or other managed facilities. It allows these devices to draw power from existing PoE network infrastructure rather than from a separate local power source.
