HPE ProLiant Compute XD220 Server

The HPE ProLiant Compute XD220 Server (S2K20A) is a high-density, single-socket compute node engineered specifically for scale-out HPC environments, AI inference at the edge, and large-scale modeling and simulation clusters. Built on HPE's XD (Extreme Density) architecture, it slots into HPE's multi-node chassis infrastructure, delivering exceptional compute density without compromising individual node manageability or performance. The node supports AMD EPYC processors and is optimized to maximize core counts and memory bandwidth within a thermally and mechanically constrained high-density form factor.

The XD220 is designed to be deployed in large quantities within HPE's ProLiant XD chassis, enabling organizations to build tightly coupled compute clusters with reduced cabling overhead, simplified rack management, and centralized power and cooling infrastructure. Each node maintains independent identity and management through HPE iLO, preserving granular monitoring and firmware control at the node level even within a shared chassis environment. This architecture is particularly well suited to workloads that require many parallel, independent compute tasks running simultaneously across dozens or hundreds of nodes.
