The HPE Aruba Networking AP-535 is a dual-radio, dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) indoor access point engineered for high-density enterprise environments where performance and efficiency must be balanced against deployment scale. Built on Aruba's fourth-generation 802.11ax silicon, the AP-535 delivers up to 3.55 Gbps aggregate maximum theoretical throughput across its 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz radios, each supporting MU-MIMO and OFDMA technologies that significantly improve spectrum utilization in environments with large numbers of concurrent clients. The access point incorporates Aruba's purpose-built 802.11ax architecture with support for BSS Coloring, Target Wake Time (TWT), and 1024-QAM modulation, reducing airtime contention and improving battery life for IoT and mobile endpoints.

The AP-535 integrates a dedicated third radio operating in the 5 GHz band as a full-time Air Monitor for simultaneous RF spectrum analysis, rogue detection, and zero-impact security monitoring without degrading client-serving capacity. An onboard ARM-based security engine supports WPA3-Personal, WPA3-Enterprise, and Enhanced Open (OWE) encryption standards, along with Aruba's ClientMatch and AppRF technologies for intelligent client steering and application-aware traffic management. The unit ships with dual Ethernet uplink ports—one 5GBASE-T and one 1GBASE-T—enabling flexible wired connectivity and link redundancy, and is powered via IEEE 802.3bt (PoE++) to support full radio and feature operation from a single cable.

Designed for deployment under Aruba Central (cloud-native management), ArubaOS (controller-based), or Instant (controller-less mesh) operating modes, the AP-535 accommodates a broad range of enterprise network architectures without requiring a forklift infrastructure upgrade.
