H3C S9820-8C Data Center Core Switch

The H3C S9820-8C is a high-density, modular data center core switch engineered for spine and core roles in large-scale spine-leaf architectures. Built on H3C's Comware V7 operating system, it delivers non-blocking 100 Gigabit Ethernet forwarding across its chassis, supporting high-density 100GbE and 400GbE line cards to accommodate the bandwidth-intensive demands of modern hyperscale and enterprise data centers. The platform integrates H3C's iMC-compatible management plane with comprehensive EVPN/VXLAN control-plane capabilities, enabling seamless overlay network provisioning across multi-tenant environments.

The S9820-8C chassis accommodates up to 8 service slots and is designed around a fully redundant, distributed forwarding architecture with N+1 redundant switch fabric modules and hot-swappable power supplies and fan trays.
