The Extreme Networks SLX 9150-48XT is a 48-port top-of-rack (ToR) leaf switch designed for high-performance data center fabric deployments. Each port supports 10GbE or 25GbE line-rate connectivity, enabling flexible bandwidth allocation across compute, storage, and services tiers. The platform delivers sub-microsecond latency characteristics and supports open standards including VXLAN, EVPN, and BGP, making it suitable for modern leaf-spine architectures.

Built on a non-blocking, cut-through switching architecture, the SLX 9150-48XT provides consistent wire-rate performance across all ports with deterministic forwarding behavior. The switch integrates advanced automation and telemetry capabilities including streaming telemetry, sFlow, and native NETCONF/YANG management interfaces for programmatic control and real-time visibility.
