The Extreme Networks AP4000 is an indoor wireless access point from the Universal APs Indoor family, built on the 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6E standard. It uses three 2x2:2 radios and delivers an aggregate data rate of up to 3.9 Gbps across the 6 GHz, 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz bands. The unit is fully functional over 802.3at power, and is offered as a Universal and World SKU.
A dedicated tri-frequency sensor monitors for rogue devices full time. A Cellular Coexistence Filter (CCF) helps limit interference, and a multi-band filter reduces interference while enabling 5 GHz and 6 GHz operation. Integrated Bluetooth allows the access point to connect with IoT devices.
The AP4000 can be managed in the cloud through ExtremeCloud IQ or on-premises with ExtremeCloud IQ Controller. This makes it suitable for indoor enterprise wireless networks such as offices, campuses and other managed facilities.
