The Extreme Networks ExtremeSwitching X465-48W is a high-density 48-port Layer 3 access switch engineered for enterprise campus, healthcare, and educational environments. Each port delivers IEEE 802.3bt Power over Ethernet Plus Plus (PoE++) capability, enabling simultaneous power delivery up to 90W per port—critical for powering high-performance wireless access points, IP cameras, and advanced IoT sensors without supplemental power infrastructure.

The switch integrates a fixed uplink architecture with four 10G SFP+ ports and two 40G QSFP+ ports, providing flexible aggregation options for core or fabric connectivity.
