The EIZO FlexScan EV2781 is a 27-inch QHD IPS monitor engineered around a single-cable USB-C docking architecture, enabling workstations and laptops to connect via one cable carrying video, data, and up to 70W of power delivery simultaneously. Built on a 2560×1440 resolution IPS panel with a 350 cd/m² typical brightness and 178°/178° viewing angles, the EV2781 is designed to eliminate cable clutter while maintaining the signal integrity and colour consistency expected in professional enterprise environments. The integrated USB-C hub exposes DisplayPort Alt Mode video input, USB 3.1 Gen 1 downstream ports, and a daisy-chain DisplayPort output, allowing multi-monitor configurations without additional docking hardware.

EIZO's EcoView suite is deeply integrated into the EV2781, incorporating an ambient light sensor for automatic brightness adjustment, a presence sensor that detects when the user leaves the desk and transitions the display to a low-power state, and EcoView Optimizer 2, which dynamically modulates backlight intensity based on displayed content. These features combine to measurably reduce power consumption across large deployments. The monitor also ships with EIZO's Paper mode and Color Mode presets, offering standardised display states that align with sRGB references for document review and financial data workflows without requiring per-seat calibration.

The physical design centres on EIZO's Ultra-Slim bezel and a fully ergonomic stand offering height adjustment, tilt, swivel, and pivot to portrait orientation, making it suitable for dense open-plan trading environments as well as individual knowledge-worker deployments. The auto-pivot function detects panel rotation and adjusts the OSD orientation accordingly.
