It supports scaling up to 52 security gateway members within a single Security Group, enabling organizations to grow firewall and threat prevention capacity incrementally as traffic demands increase.

The MHO-175 connects to gateway appliances via high-speed interfaces and manages all traffic distribution, session synchronization, and policy enforcement across the security group. The orchestrator presents the entire gateway cluster to the network as a single device with a single policy, single management point, and single IP address, dramatically reducing operational complexity at scale. The architecture supports N+1 redundancy across all member gateways, ensuring that the failure of any individual appliance does not interrupt security services. SSD-based local storage on the MHO-175 contributes to fast state management and orchestration plane operations.
