The Aten CC2000 is management software for KVM over IP access control, supplied as a software licence. It provides a centralized platform for managing KVM over IP infrastructure through an IP-based management interface, giving administrators a single point of control over connected devices and the servers they reach.
Key specifications include support for up to 8192 nodes, multiple concurrent user sessions, and LDAP/AD authentication support. LDAP/AD support allows user access to be tied to existing directory services, and concurrent sessions allow several administrators to work across the managed environment at the same time.
Software of this type is used in data centres, server rooms and multi-site IT operations where a large number of KVM over IP devices need to be administered from one location. The CC2000 suits organisations that want to consolidate remote console access and apply consistent access control across their KVM infrastructure.
