Built on the Intel Xeon Scalable (Sapphire Rapids) platform with support for dual processors, the system provides the PCIe 5.0 bandwidth, memory capacity, and I/O throughput required to fully exploit the H100 NVL's Transformer Engine and second-generation Multi-Instance GPU capabilities. The H100 NVL 94GB variant pairs two GH100 dies per card with 188 GB of HBM3 per dual-card module, enabling large language model training and inference at scale without the NVLink Switch fabric required by SXM configurations.
The ESC8000H-E11 accommodates large system memory configurations through its multi-channel DDR5 DIMM slots, and integrates high-bandwidth storage options including NVMe U.2 and M.2 drives to keep GPU pipelines supplied with data. Redundant 80 PLUS Titanium-rated power supplies and a hot-swap drive and fan architecture ensure continuous operation in production datacenter environments.
