The Arista 750X Series Modular Campus Switch Supervisor is an upgraded supervisor module engineered for the Arista 750 Series modular chassis platform, purpose-built to address the escalating bandwidth and resilience demands of modern enterprise campus cores. Launched in Q2 2025, it replaces or augments prior-generation supervisor modules by delivering significantly higher switching fabric capacity, enabling the chassis to aggregate dense 100GbE and 400GbE line cards while maintaining deterministic, low-latency forwarding. The supervisor integrates Arista's EOS (Extensible Operating System), ensuring a consistent, programmable network operating environment with stateful switchover (SSO) support between redundant supervisors for sub-second failover and continuous data-plane operation.

Architecturally, the 750X Supervisor incorporates a high-performance multi-core control plane processor and expanded memory subsystems to support large-scale routing tables, deep MAC and ARP tables, and advanced telemetry collection without impacting forwarding performance. It supports hardware-accelerated VXLAN bridging and routing, enabling seamless integration into overlay-based campus fabrics aligned with Arista's CVX and CloudVision management ecosystem. The supervisor also provides enhanced in-service software upgrade (ISSU) capabilities, allowing operators to perform EOS upgrades on live production networks with zero traffic disruption.

The 750X Supervisor is designed for campus core and aggregation deployments demanding carrier-class availability, high-density 10/25/100/400GbE connectivity, and deep visibility through streaming telemetry. It supports advanced Layer 2 and Layer 3 features including BGP EVPN for campus fabric control planes, MPLS, Segment Routing, Precision Time Protocol (PTP), and MACsec encryption across supported line cards.
