The APC NetShelter Rack PDU Advanced Switched (APDU9941) is a single-phase, outlet-level switched power distribution unit engineered for high-density data center and network closet deployments. Built around an integrated network management card, it delivers remote per-outlet on/off/reboot control, real-time current and power metering at the unit and outlet level, and configurable outlet sequencing to eliminate inrush-current surges during rack power-up. The unit operates at 208/240 V and supports loads up to 11.5 kW, feeding 20 individually switched and metered C13 outlets alongside two C19 outlets for higher-draw devices.

The embedded management interface exposes the PDU over IPv4/IPv6 via a dedicated Ethernet port, enabling integration with APC EcoStruxure IT, SNMP-based NMS platforms, and DCIM toolsets. Administrators can configure outlet-level thresholds, receive SNMP traps or email alerts on overcurrent or load anomalies, and schedule automated outlet cycling — all without physical access to the rack. Environmental monitoring ports accept compatible APC temperature/humidity sensors, extending the unit's visibility to ambient conditions within the enclosure.

The APDU9941 mounts in a 1U horizontal form factor and ships with a 3.0 m input power cord terminated in an IEC 60309 2P+E 32 A blue plug, matching the standard single-phase PDU whip found in co-location and enterprise raised-floor environments.
